Similar to the hot hand-tearing steel in recent years in China, in late December, the thickness of the industrialized rhenium foil broke through the limit, setting a new historical record of 0.015mm. The thickness of widely known hand-tearing steel is 0.02mm, the ultra-thin rhenium foil has reached 0.015mm. Due to the high temperature resistance, high density, wear resistance and pressure resistance, high hardening rate of rhenium, the rolling of the rhenium is ten times more difficult than the steel.
Since the successful production of ultra-thin rhenium foils in August 2016, the craftsmen of China Rhenium have been developing new technologies to challenge the thickness limit of rhenium foils, and trial-produced generations of ultra-thin rhenium foils, the thinnest rhenium foil by the end of the year has been thin to 0.015mm. With the improvement of the technical content and the service of products, rhenium foil of China Rhenium has been put into use in various of high-tech industries in China, which have begun to completely replace imported related products, and continue to export to developed countries in Europe and the United States.The ultra-thin rhenium-related materials required in various high-tech fields at home and abroad are expected to be solved accordingly.
